These two smiling faces played valiantly in their first round game against Big Ten Tournament Champions Purdue. Eglseder was the "Chevrolet Player of the Game." But in defeat O'Rear's name shined through. The announcers had some good lines that went something like this. "O'Rear bumps (player) for the foul." or "the pick by O'Rear."
